University named an Ohio Center of Excellence for the arts

Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor Jim Petro has designated Wright State University an Ohio Center of Excellence for the arts. The university was recognized for CELIA—Collaborative Education, Leadership, and Innovation in the Arts. Guests at the news conference were surprised by a congratulatory video from Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks.
